John R. Baldwin, 80, of Westminster, Md., died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at The Lorien in Taneytown, Md.

Born April 13, 1937 in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of the late John Yokum and Ruby Jane (Sanders) Baldwin.

Mr. Baldwin was retired as a truck driver, working out of the Teamsters Local in Hagerstown, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly D. (Pfeiffer) Baldwin; four daughters, Pam Traver of Hedgesville, W.Va., Cathy Moody of Ohio, Linda Trigo of Charlottesville, Va., and Teresa Vattle of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Ervin Scott Baldwin of Hagerstown; two sisters, Zora May Warner of Hagerstown and Emily Genuse of Burkittsville, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, 85 S. Main St., Keyser on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, from noon to 2 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 2 p.m.

Interment will be in Queen's Point Cemetery, Keyser.
