Graveside services will be Monday for John L. Abbott, a native of Missouri who died Wednesday in Santa Cruz. He was 74.
He is survived by two nieces, Theresa Newman and Helen Mahan, both of Redwood City and three nephews, Jack Thompson of Redwood City, Louis Thompson and Roland Thompson, both of Fremont.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend graveside funeral services Monday at 1 p.m. at the IOOF Cemetery, 1927 Ocean St. Ext. Interment will follow the services. Arnold's Funeral Home, 1902 Ocean St. Ext. is in charge of arrangements.
