Mary Frances was employed by M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Capital Planning and Management. She unselfishly gave of herself in helping family and friends. Her heart-felt friendliness, sincerity and willingness to patiently listen to what others had to say drew many people into enduring friendships. Mary Frances was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Claude and Martha Kate Bordwine and her younger brother, Keys Bordwine, who also died of cancer in 2005. Mary Frances is survived by her daughters, Susie Stankowski and Erica Rogers, grandchildren, Mia and Lily Stankowski, and her brothers, Jimmy and Claude Bordwine, and many nieces and nephews, her special friend and companion throughout her illness, Dick Kauth, and her close friend and companion, Sonja Frey.
