EDYTHE ANNE BOYD ROSE, 85, of 9946 Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, and formerly of Milestone Garden Apartments, Williamsport, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Clearview Nursing Home in Hagerstown. Born Aug. 3, 1914, in Birkenhead, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Elizabeth McCluney Boyd.
She was employed by the United States Information Agency. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hagerstown.
She is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth LeMasurier of Palm City, Fla., and Jean Stover of Waynesboro, Pa.; and a brother, Thomas H. Boyd of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by a niece.
Services were held at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown.
