Mrs. Blanche McCreery, 90, sister of Mrs. Florence Chapman on North Bend, died in Portland after a long illness. Funeral services were held Dec. 4, 1956.
Mrs. McCreery, born in Alvarado, Calif., was the daughter of prominent Curry County pioneers, Dr. F. O. Van der Green and Beatrice Katie Noon.
A sister, Mrs. Bertha Townsend, 81, died in September in Eureka, Calif.
Mrs. McCreery is survived by three children, Mrs. Mary Isabella Peterson, Thomas Patrick McCreery of Portland, and Francis Von McCreery of Reno.
