Lorain Wilds Lisenby, age 83, was called home Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Randolph Nursing Home, in Winchester, Indiana. She was born June 24, 1934, near Three Links, Jackson County, Kentucky, to George Milas and Lillie Eversole Wilds, the fifth of six children. She came to Richmond, Kentucky, at age 14, where she lived until recently. She held various jobs, but made many lifelong friends at Decca Records and Huffy. She was married to her husband, George, for over 52 years and shared many hobbies with him. She loved to travel across the United States hunting for adventure, sometimes including her brother, Junior. She was always up to visiting her mother while living. She loved playing bingo and going to casinos with friends.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Milas, in 1939; her mother, Lillie, in 1999; two brothers, Lawrence "Sonny" Wilds, of Paris, Kentucky, and George Milas "Junior" Wilds, Jr., also of Paris, Kentucky; and two sisters, Elizabeth Wilds Abrams, of Berea, Kentucky, and Margie Wilds White, of McKee, Kentucky. She is survived by: a brother, John "J.D." (Brenda) Wilds, of McKee, Kentucky; three daughters, Marilyn Tevis, of Galt, California, Fonda Wild, of Richmond, Indiana, and Tami Mullins-Blalock, of Shoals, North Carolina; a son, Blaine (Linda) Van Winkle, of Richmond, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She had three brother in-laws, Charles Lisenby, of Richmond, Vanna Lisenby, of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Joseph "Jake" Lisenby, of Palmer, Alaska.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, at Stegall Berheide Orr, in Richmond, Indiana, and from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., with funeral services at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, at Lakes Funeral Home, in Berea, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Wilds Cemetery, in McKee, Kentucky.
