Memorial services will be Sunday in San Jose for Edith S. Vrooman, 96, who died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. She was a native of Massachusetts and was a resident of the Santa Cruz area since 1920.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anne Green of Santa Cruz; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at Grace Baptist Church, 484 E. San Fernando St., San Jose, Sunday at 3 p.m. Private interment will be in Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose. Norman's Family Chapel. 3620 Soquel Drive, Soquel, is in charge of arrangements.
