from Jane Rohrer, descendant: Jon, We found James' gravestone in Roller cemetery, which is located beside Highway 90 between Powell MO and Washburn, MO. (that was several years ago. The stone is very hard to read now) He and his family moved to the area that is now Powell, in McDonald County. They had relocated there in 1871 and started a small store with a post office in it. He was post master until his death, and Eliza took the store and post office over. The 1880 census shows her and all the daughters in McDonald County.
