After World War II, she married Harold Carl Almquist in 1947 in Wilmington, California. She and Harold lived their married life together in a house they bought at 212 N. Russell Avenue, Fullerton, California. It was a small two bedroom, one bathroom house, but had a big backyard where Harold had fruit trees and a garden. She and Harold had no children.
