Mr. Eddie Roy Adcock, Sr., 58, of Hamburg died Sunday, March 25, 2007 outside of Portland, AR. Mr. Adcock was a native of Parkdale, AR and a resident of Hamburg since 1966. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, a Union Boiler Maker, a member of the Gaines Baptist Church and an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his father, Winford Adcock and six brothers, Johnny Mike (Droopy), Gary Dean, Harold, Billy Wayne, Steve & Paul Adcock. He is survived by a son, Roy Adcock, Jr. of Hamburg; a daughter, Carol Adcock Crawford of ElDorado; his mother, Imogene Vail Adcock of Hamburg; a brother, Ronald Adcock of Bastrop, LA; a sister, Shirley Adcock Walker of Hamburg; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the Beulah Cemetery in Drew County.
