John F. “Jack” Colosimo, Jr., 79, of Bradford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Olean General Hospital.
He was born on August 19, 1938 in Bradford, a son of the late John Sr. and Josephine Caserio Colosimo.
He attended Bradford Area Schools.
On January 28, 1968 in Custer City he married Sandra A. Clark who survives.
He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, the La Stella Lodge and the McDonald’s Men’s Coffee Club. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking in his garage.
He was employed by the former Airco Speer Electronics for 19 years and later for the Bradford Area School District for 14 years as a custodian until his retirement.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, Sandra Colosimo of Bradford he is also survived by two sons, Richard “Dick” (Patty) Colosimo and Steve (Tracy) Colosimo both of Bradford; one daughter, Sue (George) Lipps of Bradford; one sister, Anita Monti of North Carolina; one uncle, Anthony (Betty) Caserio of Bradford; one brother-in-law, Bill (Sherry) Clark of Montana; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Anthony “Pat” Colosimo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. with a funeral service to be held at the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Saturday with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
