His wife was Elizabeth, the daughter of Mary Wells, most likely by Mary's second husband George Yate.
The latest book on Thomas Plummer is:
"The Thomas and Elizabeth (Smith) Plummer Family", by Agnes Millikin Winkelman and Gale Edwin Spitler Honeyman (C)2003 [2007] which contains the following statements starting on page iii:
"The fact that father and son, both named Thomas, married women both named Elizabeth, in itself sets the stage for confusion. Before we identify the first Elizabeth, we must point to the facts of the second Elizabeth."
[then on page iv we have:]
"George Yate in his 1691 will bequeaths to my daughter Eliza Plummer, the 200 acre RICH LEVEL and 118 acre LEVEL ADDITION in Baltimore County."
"As residents of Prince George’s County, in two separate transactions during 1703 and 1726, they [Thomas and Elizabeth] sold RICH LEVEL and LEVEL ADDITION, the lands inherited from George Yate. The elder Thomas and Elizabeth Plummer lived in Anne Arundel County where he died prior to 1703 and she within the next two years. Herein lies the proof by the sales of these tracts that the second Elizabeth was indeed Elizabeth Yate, not Elizabeth Smith."

In reading the 1703 deed mentioned in the above referenced Plummer Book, we find very distinct wording that more clearly identifies the wife of Thomas Plummer Jr as a daughter of George Yate, as follows:
"...whereas the said George Yate did by his last will and testament ... bequeath unto his Daughter Elizth Yates alias Plummer party to these presents (wife of Thomas Jr) two hundred acres being ... Rich Levell"
An original version of the entire 1703 deed is now posted in two photographs for this memorial.
