She was married 1st on September 12, 1947 in Williamson County, Tennessee to Vernon Earl Blanton (1922-1975), the son of William Edward Blanton Sr (1887-1973) and Sadie Belle (Briley) Blanton (1893-1974). Helen was married 2nd in 1980 to Elves E Minis (1922–1980). And, she was married 3rd on August 9, 1986 in Robertson County as the 2nd wife of William Thomas Adcock (1932- ).
A resident of Nashville, Helen was 88 years old when she passed away on October 18, 2017.
Preceded in death by her 1st husband, daughters Teresa Adkins and Jackie Campbell and by her son Edward Blanton, Helen was survived by her 2nd husband, a married daughter, a Blanton son, a married stepdaughter, two married stepsons, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Woodbine Funeral Home's Hickory Chapel, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
