Aug 26, 1938, The Otsego Farmer:
Mrs. Frank Campbell Mrs. Mary Louise Dakin Campbell, wife of Frank Campbell, died at her home, Sunday morning, August 21st, of a heart condition. Mrs. Campbell was born in Manlius, March 29th, 1854, the daughter of Louise Moore Dakin and Francis Dakin. She had lived in Cherry Valley since she was seventeen.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Chatfield Bates of Schenectady; two sons, Allen and Dudley; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. George Chamberlain of Springfield, Mass., and Mrs. Joseph-Spafford of New York City: also nephews, nieces and cousins.
The funeral was held from her late home, Tuesday at 2:30, the Rev. W.P. Hill officiating, with the Rev. R.A. Tennies assisting. Burial in the local cemetery.
