Linda Kay Moncier
September 26, 1944 - October 21, 2017

Linda Kay Moncier passed away early Saturday morning at her home in the Camp Creek Community. Linda went to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was a faithful member of Mt. Olive (Red Hill) Church while her health permitted.

She was a beautician for over 50 years and made some lifelong friends while doing so.

Survivors include her daughter: Catrina Moncier Johnson of Chattanooga; one nephew: Kiah Moncier; two nieces: Kathy Nichols and Kristy Moncier; special friends: Kimberly Pinkston, Jamie Pinkston, John and Cookie Crum, and Nell Vest; special caregivers: Frankie Kimery and Tammy Kimery; and three special fur cat babies: Tiki, Sassy, and Scruffy.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Bob and Beulah Moncier; four brothers: Bobby Joe, Lyle, Keith, and Jackie Moncier.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care nurses and doctors for the exceptional care given during her time of need.

Graveside services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Harris Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Jeannie Higgins will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Smithson, Jamie Pinkston, Jim Crum, Michael Hawk, Drew Beach, and Jimmy White.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
