Mrs. Saunders, born in Smith County, came to Nashville 35 years ago. She was the wife of G. W. Saunders, who survives.
She was a member of the Green Street Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at the Green Street Church, with Phillip G. Speer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive cemetery.
Besides her husband, survivors are a daughter, Mrs. E. G. Lee, Nashville, and a son, C. H. Lane, Nashville; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Jarrett, Nashville, and Mrs. Sinnie Gilbert, Franklin; five brothers, George, Albert, and Clarence Horton all of Nashville, Willie Horton of Chestnut Mound, Tenn. and Walter Horton of Hopkinsville, Ky.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
