MISS MARIE WARD SERVICES TODAY
Miss Marie Ward, 59, was found dead at her home Saturday evening in Melrose.
Funeral services were today at 9:30 a.m. in Melrose at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Leo Ward officiating. The rosary was recited at the Humeston Funeral Home in Albia at 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Melrose.
Born in Melrose Nov. 20, 1907, she was the daughter of John and Ella Fitzgerald Ward.
The survivors are four brothers, Raymond of Two Harbors, Minn., John of Grantsburg, Ill., Paul of Denver, Colo., and Frank of Adair.
Her parents preceded her in death.
