CLIMAX - Mrs. Maie Williams Routh, 98, of Old Liberty Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998 at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty with the Rev. Carl Garner officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving were daughters, Mrs. Magdolene Fields of Climax, Mrs. Jessie Auman of Asheboro, Mrs. Joann Barker and Mrs. Brenda Heilig of Climax; sons, Herman Routh and Russell Routh, both of Liberty; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; six step great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4305 NC Hwy 49 N., Liberty, NC 27298.

Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty, NC assisted the family.
