Bonnie J. (Folwell) Gilchrist, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away October 21, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends at Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born in Wood County December 11, 1940 a daughter of the late Leonard R. Folwell and Mable (Matheny) Folwell.
She attended Fairview United Methodist Church on New England Ridge Road.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Roxie E. Miller & (David) of Peytona, WV and Melanie I Korzep & (Allen) of Washington, WV, two sons, Leonard S. Gilchrist & (Kristi) of Parkersburg, WV and William E. Gilchrist & (Tayla) of Vienna, WV, brother, Billy Joe Folwell & (Julie) of Parkersburg, WV, sister-in-law, Donna Jacobs of Belpre, OH, six grandchildren, Brandi J. Schoolcraft & (Caleb), David W. Miller Jr & (Ashley), Victoria E. Korzep, Preston R. Korzep, Sydney D. Gilchrist, and Barrett R. Korzep, six great grandchildren, Talon, Max, and Dean Schoolcraft, Ace Miller, Trenton Salyers, and Keegan Korzep.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Gilchrist.
Services will be Thursday 11:00 AM at The Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Ed Lowe officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
