A. Winnie (Langley) O'Brien age 92, entered into eternal life on Oct. 31, 2010. Winnie was born and raised in Dorchester, and has lived in Braintree for many years. Mrs. OBrien taught sewing in both the Braintree and Weymouth Public Schools Adult education Programs. Winnie was a longtime member of the Quincy Y.M.C.A. and a parishioner of St. Thomas More Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, and being with her grand and great-grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. O'Brien, Jr. Devoted mother of Thomas III of Quincy, Ann W. Fickett of Strafford, N.H., Kathleen E. Noonan of Carolina, R.I., Joan M. O'Brien of Abington, Robert J. of Holbrook, and John F. of Braintree. Beloved sister of Roy Langley of Marthas Vineyard, John Langley of Maine, the late Catherine Langley, the late Evelyn Murphy, the late Norma Murray, and the late James Langley. Loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth Landing on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Thomas More Church, Braintree at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
