Lillian N. Joffer went home to be with the Lord in Nampa on October 21st at the age of 94.
She was a loving wife to Peter; mother to three children (and their spouses): Diana, Raymond and Faith; grandmother to 10 and great grandmother to 16. Lillian was born and raised in California to Raymond and Beatrice (Boyd) Beazley along with her late younger brother, Laurence, and survived by a younger sister Georgiella.
Lillian met her devoted husband in Los Angeles, CA and they eloped on December 31, 1945 in Yuma, Arizona. They later moved to Los Angeles to start a family. Lillian filled her heart with the Lord, raising her children with her husband and working with special needs children through the church and school. Peter and Lillian moved to Idaho in 2005 to be with their two children: Raymond and Faith then Diana moved shortly after. In Idaho, Peter and Lillian enjoyed retirement by spending time with their wonderful family and church.
The family will greet friends at the New Hope Baptist Church, 1829 W. Iowa Ave. in Nampa for a time viewing and visitation on Thursday, October 26th from 5-7 PM. A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Lillian's life will be held on Friday, October 27 at 3 PM at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will take place at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise at a later date.
