The only child of the late Mrs. Helen S Magee and Lukie Magee, Victoria was born on September 28, 1957 in Lawrenceburg Tennessee.

She attended Clarke Elementary School in Mt Pleasant TN and graduated from Mt Pleasant High School in 1975. At Mt Pleasant High she was a clarinetist in the Marching Band and also a pianist. Following High School Victoria attended Tennessee State University in Nashville Tennessee where she graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She was a Life Member of the TSU Alumni Association and a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Victoria retired from the US Postal Service in September 2015 after 27 years of service.

Victoria accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Original Church of God in Mt Pleasant under the leadership of Elder Roy Johnson. She was a faithful member of her church and attended until her health failed. She was a member of the Sunday School and Choir. She was a kind, strong and caring person who like her Mother would do what she could to help others. Victoria loved people, she loved to travel, she loved music, and she loved her Church.

Those left to cherish the many memories of the life are Uncle William Stewart of Detroit Michigan, Aunts: Ida Magee Smith of Magnolia Mississippi, Millie Stewart and Shirley Stewart of Detroit Michigan. Cousins: Beverly Wells of Magnolia MS, Wade of California and Wayne of Florida, and Betty Liles of Lawrenceburg TN. Co-worker and friend, Lillie Scruggs and Lifelong friend Jan Wheeler of Nashville TN. A host of special cousins and friends: The Hickman family of Lawrenceburg, Emma Smith Dixon of New York, Ann Gaines, Phillip Richardson, The Baker family of Mt Pleasant, TN, Waverly McCoy, Teresa Fennell, Annie Kinzer, Faye Pulce, Shirley Watkins, and Tina Ray of Nashville.

Visitation will be Friday 01/08/2016 at Chavers Funeral 214 Columbia Avenue, Mt Pleasant, TN from 3pm to 7pm. Alpha Kappa Alpha Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony will be at 5:30pm. Funeral services will be Saturday at The Original Church of God, 315 Railroad Street, Mt Pleasant TN.
