Anthony worked as a bartender for 40 years in the Oakland and Hayward area and retired in 2004, returning to Makaha, Hawaii. Anthony enjoyed gardening, playing horseshoes and spending time at the beach. He also enjoyed a good beer and telling stories. He was a wonderful dad, papa and friend that will be deeply missed.
Anthony leaves behind his children, Toni Ferreiro and George (Patricia) Ferreiro, along with six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and his sister, Leonilda Tengyn. Anthony is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Hilda Ferreiro and his sisters, Shirley Silva and Annette Ott.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, October 27th, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Deegan Chapel in Escalon. Anthony will be laid to rest at the State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe, HI.
