Helen Faye Grubb, 80, of Rivesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born in Grant Town, daughter of the late John and Virginia Sharp Hurt.

She was the owner and operator of Helen’s Beauty Salon and was employed by Westinghouse. Helen was Methodist by faith. She was a caretaker for many people.

Helen is survived by her husband, Hubert Junior Grubb; two sisters, Mary Janet Kennedy of Monumental and Thelma Wolfe and husband Ronald of Loveland, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, James and John Hurt and a sister, Frances McKiney.

Per her request, there will be no public viewing or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
