Barbara J. Bawiec (nee Kolecheck), age 72, of Hartford, Wisconsin (Formerly of Milwaukee, WI) passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Waterford in Hartford.
Barb was born October 25, 1944 in Rib Lake, WI to Frank and Evelyn (nee Carlson) Kolecheck. She was united in marriage to Joseph T. Bawiec. Barb enjoyed doing crafts, reading books, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Barb is survived by her children, Lynda (Mark) Czekay, Deborah (Jeff) Kaad, and Brenda (Mark) Lindner; grandchildren, Brandon Czekay, Alexis and Elizabeth Lindner. Siblings, Fran (Ann) Kolecheck and Michael (Phyllis) Kolecheck. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, brothers Roger (Betty) S, Edward (Dorothy), David, Joseph (Judy) and sister Doris (Ted).
A Funeral Service for Barb will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 7:00p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027). The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00p.m.
Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
