LeBLANC, Evelyn Rose - 90, Lakeside Road, Yarmouth, formerly of West Pubnico, died September 18, 2005, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Little River Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Surette) Fitzgerald. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Les Nouveaux Horizons de la Barronie West Pubnico, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 66 Ladies Auxiliary, PC Party, and she volunteered time with the MusTe Acadien in West Pubnico. She is survived by daughters, Joan Selkirk, Thunder Bay, Ont.; Jean (Paul) Surette, Plaistow, N.H.; sister, Josephine (Gerald) Surette, Yarmouth; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence, July 14, 2005; brothers, Edgar, Anthony; sisters, Sarah and Laurette. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Wednesday in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by funeral at 10:30 a.m., Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery, Ste. Anne du Ruisseau. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements are entrusted to West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West Pubnico.
