Married David Charles Allen 17 March 1900 at Manhatten, KS He died 3 Feb 1931. Her parents Goalman Benton and Ida LaRue Graft. There was a second marriage Samual Unknown 21 July 1941.

MANHATTAN - Mrs. Della Samuelson, 89, Manhattan, died Monday at a Manhattan hospital.

She was born June 22,1883 at Manhattan and had lived in the Maple Hill community until 1926. She was married to David Allen, who died in 1931. She was then married to A.E. Samuelson in 1945. He died in 1956.

Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Verna Hammarlund and Mrs. Marjorie Rawson, both of Topeka, Mrs. Ethel Crosley, Mrs. Elsie Scheleen and Mrs. Maxine Carlson, all of Manhattan; 2 sons, Earl Allen, Denver, and Arthur Allen, Topeka; a stepson, Ralph Samuelson, Manhattan; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Allen, Maple Hill, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church at Manhattan with burial in Sunset Cemetery. Courser Funeral Home at Manhattan is in charge of arrangements.
