Katherine Welsh died Sunday at the Wesley Village, Jenkins Township.
Born June 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Clara Griffin Grogan. She was a former resident of South Wilkes-Barre.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Church, Wilkes-Barre, and a charter member of L.A.O.H. Ladies, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Welsh; son, Kevin Welsh; brothers, Thomas, Edward, James, John and Eugene Grogan.
Surviving are a brother, Francis Grogan, Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Claire Fisher, Elkins Park; Marie Roth, Wilkes-Barre; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Frederick & Snowdon Funeral Home, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Aloysius Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.-----
