Murtaugh: Judith Ann "Judy" (nee Steininger) Loving wife of 48 years to John "Jack" Murtaugh. Devoted mother of Mark (Betsy) Murtaugh of Liberty Twp., Monica (Eric) Bergman of Fairfax, CA. and Kevin (Andrea) Murtaugh of Chanhassan, MN. Proud grandmother of Garrett Murtaugh, Bridget and Owen Bergman and Jack and Benjamin Murtaugh. Dear sister of Mary Nordenbrock of Peru, IN, Donald (Charlene) Steininger of Findlay, OH, Ronald (Anita) Steininger of Cromwell, IN and the late Loretta Rawlings of Danville, IN.
Judy was a proud registered nurse working for over 30 years in various nursing fields. She passed away peacefully on March 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was also a 22 year survivor of breast cancer. Judy had a strong devotion to her Christian faith which sustained her during these cancer battles. She was an active member of St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church including the St. Vincent de Paul Society, CHRP and as a leader of weekday rosary services.
Visitation will take place at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church, 5720 Hamilton-Mason Rd., Liberty Twp., Tuesday from 6 PM - 8 PM with Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 11 AM at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Maximillian Kolbe. Condolences to hodappfuneralhome.com.
