Mrs. Ruth Petty Stanley, wife of Mr. Lewis Stanley, died at their home near Dacula Monday night about 12 o'clock. She had been sick only a few hours, having been stricken Monday afternoon with acute indigestion.
Mrs. Stanley was the daughter of Mrs. Eleana Petty, of Grayson, and was about 18 years of age. She was a bride of only a few months.
Besides her mother and her heartbroken young husband, she is survived by several sisters, who are the recipients of much sympathy in the sad death of this lovely young woman.
The funeral was conducted from the home Wednesday afternoon, the services being in charge of Rev. Mr. Millican, of Loganville. The interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Duluth.
