Eva Lee Bayless Constable, 91, of Jonesborough, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at her residence.
A native of Washington County, TN she is the daughter of the late Frank and Edith Loyd Bayless. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 60 years, Wallace Constable; daughter, Linda Baines; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Maupin.
Eva was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She worked as a seamstress all her life and loved reading.
Those left to cherish Eva's memory include: children, Steve Constable and Brenda Malone (Jerry); grandchildren, Brenda Maupin (Robert) and Michael Baines (Pamela); and great-grandchildren, Joshua Maupin, Austin Baines, and Kelsea Baines.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caris Hospice and special friend and caregiver, Joann Feathers.
The family will receive friends to share memories on Monday, October 30, 2017 beginning at 5:00 PM until a Celebration of Eva's life at 6:30 PM in the Sunrise Chapel at Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. A graveside and committal service will be held at Cherokee Baptist Church Cemetery, Jonesborough, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 PM. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Moe Baines and Jerry Malone will serve as an Honorary Pallbearers.
