Born Feb. 2, 1961, in Burlington, he was the son of Jim and JoAnn Gapen Dunne. On Nov. 7, 1992, he married.
Mr. Dunne was a spot welder for General Electric for 10 years.
He was a 1979 graduate of Burlington High School and four-year sheet metal apprenticeship. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Burlington and a past member of Sheet Metal Workers Union 91 of Rock Island, Ill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the river and boating. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, and his favorite driver was Bill Elliott.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
