She was a homemaker and attended Open Door Church in Newport.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Shropshire , stepchildren Gary Shropshire and Judy Duncan, parents Dana and Mary Ruth Shipley Brooks, and brothers Harold, Ray, Robert, and Baby Clyde Brooks.
Survivors include two stepsons Harold Shropshire and Wallace Shropshire , brother and sister-in-law Lloyd and Addie Brooks, two sisters-in-law Stella and Audrey Shropshire , and several nieces and nephews.
