Delbert Brian Ford 57 of Varney, WV passed away November 1, 2017 at his home. He was born Nov. 10, 1959 at Ironton, OH the son of the late Delbert and Gloria Dingess Ford.
Brian was a coal miner for more than 30 years. He most recently was employed by Mountain Laurel Coal Co. at Sharples, WV. He was an avid Marksman and amateur Gunsmith. He loved to study his bible and pray. He was also fond of cooking with his wife. Brian attended the Blue Springs Freewill Baptist Church and the Jackson Chapel at Hurley, VA.
Those left behind to cherish his memories include his wife of 32 years, Amanda Whitt Ford, his precious children, Brian Keith Ford and Amber Jaya Ford both of Varney, WV, brothers, Adam Ford and wife Diann of Tennessee, Hady Ford and wife Kathy of Matewan, WV and Bruce Ford and wife Sandy of Varney, WV. He also leaves behind two special nieces whom he thought of as his own daughters, Lanai Hale and Amanda Reynolds. He also has many other nieces and nephews who are dear to his heart.
Funeral services will be held at the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church at Ransom, KY on Friday Nov. 3, 2017 at 1:00pm with Pastor Larry Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Lynn, WV.
