Freda M. Kostra, 82, passed away Feb. 13, 2003.
Born in Sutton, W. Va., she had lived most of her life in Akron.
Preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Fannie Collins; brother, Golden Collins; and sisters, Anna Mae Kyle and Stella Zilman, Freda is survived by her sons, Andy (Jane) Kostra of Akron, John Kostra of Akron, and Michael (Vickie) Kostra of Texas; brothers, Ellis Collins of West Virginia and Gerald (Nancy) Collins of Richfield; sisters, Lucille (Jimmy) Damascus of West Virginia, Margie (Amos) Chapelo of Akron, and Lorraine Farnsworth of Kent; grandchildren, Kelly (Keith) Cain, Ashley Kostra, Brittany Kostra; stepgrandchildren, John DeLong, Tony DeLong, and Angel DeLong; great-grandchildren, LeeAnn, Teresa, Michael-Ann, Dallas, Dakota, Stevie, Kayla, Drew, and Megan.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at 11 a.m., at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd., with Rev. Darris Malone officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.
