She was born November 17, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa. Helen married Roger Aalbers on November 30, 1985. He preceded her in death in October 1991. She attended Wyatt Park Christian Church and enjoyed reading her Bible and doing cross-stitch. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Blanche Nelson; brother, Vernon Nelson; and Evelyn Parrish.
