I believe Elmer is buried here, most likely in an unmarked grave. I know that he sometimes attended church there in the 1930's & 40's. My grandmother Hazel would cut his hair before they went to church. He died in the County Home, and no one from his family is listed on his death certificate. I was happy to find the death certificate even though it provided very little information.

My father and aunts remember him from when they were kids. Their father (Ross Schall) said that he was an Uncle. I suspect that he was a cousin to his mother Ada Blose Schall. Elmer never married, and lived for a while with Susan and her brother William Sherman Blose (siblings of Ada). He drifted around the area, working as a laborer. I suspect that he may have been mentally retarded, as his WW2 draft registration mentions "mental disability". He gives his nearest relative on that form as Ellen Schall Waltenbaugh, (Ross' sister).

If anyone has any other information as to his parents, or how I am related, please contact me and help me fill in the blanks.
