Mike was the second son born to Carl Harry and Norma Joyce (Ustick) Neely. He graduated from high school in Joplin, Missouri, with the Class of 1967. His fifth marriage was to Alice Gilman 21 April 1982, and it lasted 35 years until his death. He is survived by his wife Alice, her son and granddaughters, and two of his brothers, Dennis and Timothy.
