Alma Paulosky, 93, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Julia Wedrohowski Narkiewicz.

Alma spent most of her life as a housewife but also worked as a dental assistant. She was a 1941 graduate of Minersville High School. She was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville, and was a member of the former St. Francis Church, Minersville. She was also a member of the Pottsville Lionettes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joseph Paulosky; a sister, Irene Sidoriak; three brothers, Dr. Pius Narkiewicz, Frank Narkiewicz and Vincent Narkiewicz.

She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Dr. Peter Sidoriak and his wife, Ann, Minersville; a sister, Leona N. Mollick, Phoenix, Ariz.; other nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, 139 Spruce St., Minersville, with Father Leo J. Maletz as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Minersville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Alma to the St. Matthew Church Memorial Fund.
