Hemmenger, aged 24, a machinist at a lumber yard. Her husband was shown to be a machinist for the Electric Light Co.
In 1940, Helene Siemen, aged 37, was living at 11 Electric St., Patchogue, Brookhaven, NY, with her husband, Harry Siemen, aged 41, and children, Grace Siemen, aged 12, and Harry Siemen, aged 3. Her husband was shown to be a chief engineer for the electric company.
Obituary - Helen Elizabeth Siemen, 73, of Patchogue, died December 25 at her residence. She was born in Patchogue and was a lifelong resident.
She is survived by her husband, Harry A.; two sons, Harry C. of Patchogue, and Edward C. of Utah; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Siemen Fails of Ridge; a brother, Charles Hemminger of Texas, and four grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday morning at the Ruland Funeral Home. Rev. Philip Rohrbacher, pastor of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Patchogue, officiated. Interment followed in Washington Memorial Park, Coram.
