Juanita Murray Aston ~ Lewiston, Idaho
Juanita Aston, a Lewiston, Idaho homemaker, died at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston on Oct. 31, 2017, the result of a stroke. She was 77.
She was born Feb. 24, 1940 to Bid and Nancy Jane Neal Murray in San Angelo, Texas, where she lived until leaving for college.
She attended Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California where she met her future husband, David Aston.
Dave and Juanita were married on Aug. 25, 1962 in Glendora, California. They initially lived in Azusa, where Dave started his career as an electronics technician. They later moved to San Angelo, Texas, for a two year period before returning to California. In 1980 they relocated one more time to Lewiston, where they have lived for the past 38 years.
Juanita, most recently, attended the Congregational Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading and music.
She is survived by her husband, David D. Aston; two daughters, Lori (Steve) Dietz and Kathleen Buchanan; one son, Eric (Kimberly) Aston; one sister, Marie (LeRoy) Anderson; two brothers, Henry (Rose) Murray and Charles Murray; three cousins, Ann Noble (James Lambert) of Lubbock, NORMA (BUFORD “Buck”) JAMES and Francis Crawford, both of San Angelo, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Pam Jackson, formerly of Longview, Texas and Jeanette Hendrickson, formerly of Tucson, Arizona.
A memorial services was held at the Mountain View Funeral Home, in Lewiston, at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7 officiated by Reverend Steve Wilbraham. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery. Please direct memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Congregational Presbyterian Church in Lewiston.
