"From the golden land above us, to the weary alone/Comes a voice of an angel's sweetness: 'It is better farther on.'

Tuesday night, June 14, 1966 at 8:45 P.M. Goldie Gertrude Wamsley heard that voice saying, 'Come try that place which is better just a little farther on.'

Her trials are past, her work is o'er
She fought the fight and victory won, and entered into rest
Now let our sorrow cease to flow
God has recalled His own
And this sorrow we must bear
God knows, and His tender heart of love
Still say: Thy will be done [sic]"
