Goldie Gertrude Tomblin was the daughter of James "Jim" Tomblin and Cora Hunt. She was the maternal granddaughter of Christopher Hunt and Cernia Evans.
She married William "Willie" Wamsley and had six children. Their five daughters were Ivy Mae, Birdie Ione, Levia Jane, Sarah, and Mary. Another child, thought to be a son, died at birth and was buried on the family property in an unmarked grave.

On June 2, 1919 she was united in marriage to William Bland Wamsley. To this union five daughters were born, all of which survive:

Mae Workman --- Route #2 Peebles, Ohio
Jane Hawn --- Peebles, Ohio
Sarah Osborn --- Lebanon, Ohio
Mary Rudd --- Otway, Ohio
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and three brothers:

McCell Tomblin --- Urbana, Ohio
Chester Tomblin --- Urbana, Ohio
And a large number of relatives and friends.
A member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she was a devoted Christian and loved her church, and will be sadly missed by all.
