Jennifer J. Fruechte

Jennifer Jo (Jenny) Fruechte, 15 daughter of Dale and Shirley Sprunger-Fruechte of route 2 (one-quarter mile south of Magley), Decatur, died at 12:15 a.m. today at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis after an illness of three years.

Miss Fruechte was a freshman at Adams Central high school, where she was a member of the freshman band and pom-pom choir, the high school band, pep club and Spanish club. She was also a member of the Salem United Church of Christ, a member of the children’s choir and youth fellowship, and past Sunday school officer. Miss Fruechte, a member of both the Kirkland Jr. and Sr. 4-H clubs, was a two-time state 4-H winner.

She was born January 28, 1960 in Decatur. Surviving in addition to the parents, are one brother, Kim, a sophomore at Indiana State University; and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Silvan Sprunger of route 1 Berne.

Private family services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Zwick Funeral Home, Rev. Matthew Worthman in charge, and burial will be in the Salem United Church of Christ cemetery. Visiting hours are from 12 noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday. Preferred memorials are to the Salem United Church of Christ building fund.
