News readied back home Russell County relatives and friends last week of the passing at Petersburg, Va., on December 24, 1943 of Charles Gilmer Bausell son of the late Charles W. and Mollie Bausell, who resided a few miles from Bolton. The deceased had fought a good fight against a prolonged illness. He was a World War One veteran and was married to Miss Bess McDonald of Morristown, Tenn. The widow and two sons survive. News of his passing was received in the neighborhood where he grew up and was well known, and much liked with deep regret. He was a first cousin of the editor of The Lebanon News.
