The 1910 census shows Helen living with her aunt Johanna and uncle John Mahony in Rulo, Nebraska. She is a school teacher.
On January 8, 1918, Helen married John Patrick Kelly in Denver, Colorado by a Catholic Priest. She became pregnant right away, and had her son on November 8, 1918. Unfortunately, she got sick with the Flu epidemic of 1918, and died weeks after having her baby.
She is buried alone in the same cemetery as her husband, in Section 8, Block 2, Lot 9, in the North Grave South West of that grouping. John remarried, and is buried next to his second wife in 29-6-20-3. His wife is in 29-6-20-4.
