MAMAUAG, Maria
Was born in the Philippines on February 19, 1915, a resident of Sacramento for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Tadeo T. Mamauag. She is survived by her children: Rudy and wife, Pacita, Tudy and husband, Bert, Endy and husband, Antonio, Jude and wife, Cora, Bony and wife Jean, Rollie and wife, Roxy, Didy and wife, Ellen, Lily and husband, Elvis, Lany and husband, Fred, as well as, 30 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Her entire life epitomized the Gospel values of faith, hope and love. She was a music teacher, composer and songwriter, who played various wind and string instruments including the piano. Realizing her love of music was a God-given gift, she generously shared this gift to everyone, encouraging them to appreciate and develop that gift, while humbly using it in the service of others; a profound legacy that clearly defines the purpose of her life. May she rest in peace. Wednesday, November 9 at 6pm: viewing/Rosary/eulogy at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd. (south of Fruitridge Rd.) November 10 at 10am: Mass of Christian Burial also at St. Rose.
