Martin Claire Coleman was a son of Robert Clare and Florence (Trimmer) Coleman. He married first Una M. Kruger with whom he had two sons and two daughters. He married 2d Mary T. ?? who survived him. He moved to California from Nebraska in the 1930s and settled in Petaluma during WWII.
He was a butcher by trade working for more than 50 years in several shops in the Petaluma area.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma Lodge #901 BPOE, the Petaluma Holy Ghost Society and the Butchers Union Local #115.
He was survived by his widow, four children, ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
