Utah. Jan. 21 - The death of Seymour Glass occurred Saturday morning, Jan. 18th, after an illness of several months at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Shaffer of North Henderson. He was born in Ashtabula Co., Ohio, in 1828, and came to Warren county, Ill., when but one year of age, where his life has been spent with the exception of a few years spent in Wisconsin. He was married in 1838 to Miss Isabella Blake. Mrs. Glass having passed away some nine years ago. He leaves surviving three sons and three daughters. Chas. F., and Fred U. Glass of Kelly; Roy P. Glass of Canton, Kansas; Mrs. Phoeba B. Shaffer of North Henderson; Mrs. Lura M. Blue, Kansas and Mrs. Cora Shelton of Burbanks, California. All of the children were here during Mr. Glass last illness except Mrs. Sheldon. The interment was made in Hope cemetery east of Utah on Sunday Jan. 19th. The family have the sympathy of all in this hour of bereavement.
