M. Bernice McAuley, 87, of Exeter Township, passed away November 6, 2017, at Exeter Greens, where she was a guest since January 22, 2016.
Bernie was the wife of the late Ronald Joseph McAuley, who passed away June 14, 2011.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John Joseph and Mildred (Barnes) Johnson.
Bernie worked as a copywriter in the advertising industry.
She was a longtime parishioner, parish secretary and elementary school librarian at Incarnation of Our Lord R. C. Church.
Bernie is survived by her children, Joseph R. McAuley, Mt. Penn, Marie McAuley, Hamburg; her grandchildren: Tommy, Alex, Rachel, Jonathan, Evan and Bobby; her great-granddaughter, Amelia; her niece, Karen, and husband, David; her nephews, Bob and Jim ,and wife, Sandy; her brother-in-law, Ed; and sisters-in-law, Carmella and Marie.
She was predeceased by her younger sister, Helen.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. followed by a Prayer service at 1:30 p.m. in Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 1 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa.
