Rhonda and John went on to birth two more children, Courtney Johnna and Tanner Skywalker Holton. (John loved Star Wars). John praised and loved his wife and children. He would go to great lengths to find family activities to please all family members. He acquired a large travel trailer and 3 quads so the family could camp and play together.
His wife, Rhonda, had often told John he had nine lives. He was born with bronchial asthma and spent the first 7 years of life in the hospital. He got speared in the chest with a crowbar and lived. He got a railroad tie forced into his forehead which caused the bone to become lodged into his brain, which in turn caused occasional seizures. He took medication the rest of his life to prevent seizures. (An operation gave him only a 50/50 chance of survival so he chose not to do the operation). He had a collapsed lung. He once ate lobster, which caused anaphylactic shock (couldn't breathe and his throat passage closed). John had even died once. (about 5 minutes he was declared legally dead) He was certainly a walking miracle.
He worked 15 years plus for Hughes, which changed to McDonnell Douglas, which was acquired by Boeing. Currently he was the tool coordinator. John was bullheaded on the outside but a sweet, caring and loving person on the inside. He was always helping others out by helping them move or get gifts for the less fortunate at Christmas etc., and he always helped his mother and two brothers, Tommy and Spencer.
He was only 35 years old when he unexpectedly died.
His sister, Sue Holton has a memorial on findagrave.
